Japanese Cultural Exchange Hosted a Festive and Gift Exchange

On December 12, 35 members of the Japanese Cultural Exchange group gathered at the festive home of CED volunteer Karen Russo to celebrate the holidays together. There were 21 diplomats in attendance, including representatives from Hungary, Germany, Sweden, Vietnam and Japan. Several shared their family and national holiday traditions with the group. We also enjoyed delicious refreshments and a gift exchange. Several diplomats ushered in the holiday season early by working with Karen weeks before the event to install her spectacular decorations.
